You know that wive's tale about oral sex causing cancer? Turns out it's true, if the genitals in your throat have HPV, the vaccine-preventable virus that also causes cervical cancer.

American researchers say throat cancer caused by HPV (generally transmitted to throats during oral sex) has increased significantly over the last 20 years.

Gwendoline Ruais soars as Miss World runner-up

Miss Philippines Gwendoline Ruais became the highest placing Pinay candidate in this year's beauty pageant season with a runner-up finish in the 2011 Miss World competition held on Sunday, November 6 at Earls Court in London.

Gwendoline placed second to Miss Venezuela, Ivian Sarcos-Colmenares, in a glittering and gallant performance besting hundreds of candidates from Albania to Zimbabwe. The coronation was broadcast to one billion viewers in 150 countries.

It is a special dish served in households across the province during fiesta and other special occasions. Some tips from Poch: When cooking, make sure to check on the dish once in a while--you might need to add more water to make the meat tender. Also, make sure that the sauce is not gravy-like--it should be a little dry.

Marquez sees tough first round, but he's ready

On a cold day at the races, Juan Manuel Marquez tried to stay hot. 

Up in a makeshift, the great Mexican counterpuncher said he's all set to face Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.

He was asked what the first round would like, and Marquez, with perhaps three layers of clothing on, said he expects a tough one. 

"It's going to be tough for me because Pacquiao will be looking for the knockout, "he said as he moved around the ring to face questions from the media, by the ropes, one at a time. 

When told that Pacquiao's chief trainer, Freddie Roach, was calling for a knockout, he clipped his shoulder and said anybody can say anything.
